BIANCO Desert Blossom

Inspired by the ancient Conditon wine, this vermouth is based on Muscat grapes and serves as a bridge between a forgotten local tradition and a modern international trend.  The vermouth features Israeli herbs and botanical ingredients that play a daily role in our culture and regional cuisine, led by a local wormwood variety—Judean Wormwood. Among the additional ingredients, you will find silan (date syrup), mace, orange peel, and many others. Best served chilled, over ice, topped with soda, or integrated into a Negroni cocktail.

Based on white wine from the local Dabouki grape variety. The inspiration for this vermouth was the Martini cocktail, designed so that this dry vermouth complements the refreshing aromas of most gins while adding body and texture to the classic cocktail. Five types of wormwood were added to the wine, each bringing its own unique layer and flavors. Additionally, classic tea herbs found in almost every Israeli home were blended in: lemon verbena, lemongrass, scented geranium, and Sheba (also known as tree wormwood). Finally, as a twist, olive leaves steeped in alcohol were added to lend a subtle oiliness and flavors that will bring a smile between every sip. Recommended served chilled, over ice, topped with tonic water, or mixed into a Martini cocktail.

Based on a white wine made from Muscat of Alexandria—an ancient grape variety likely originating from North Africa and the Middle East. It produces exceptionally aromatic wines with floral and citrus aromas. The wine is further infused with a wide variety of desert flowers, exotic spices, and native Israeli citrus fruits. Desert wormwood (Artemisia) takes center stage—a highly aromatic botanical known for its medicinal properties and floral notes that blend seamlessly with the wine’s aromatic character and the citrus fruit.

Best served well-chilled, over ice with a slice of citrus fruit, soda water, or tonic water.
